ePortfolio Trilogy online workshop

http://occadev.meu.unimelb.edu.au/ePortfolio

An opportunity for those who can or cannot attend an ePortfolio Trilogy conference in 2007!

The online activities have been carefully designed to bring together varied perspectives, experiences and needs of the participants to enhance understanding of the relevance of ePortfolios to schools, vocational and higher education, the workplace, government and global communities.

Outcomes of the workshop will be reported to the ePortfolio Australia Conference and will include:

·         A working definition(s) of the  term ‘ePortfolio’;

·         A profile of broad areas of ePortfolio use, including representative examples and online resources;

·         A summary of current issues relating to ePortfolio use.

In addition, individual participants will develop their own personal electronic ‘learning portfolio’ representing their experience of the workshop.

The workshop design recognises the breadth of the topic area, diverse interests of participants and time pressures facing many. It will involve a series of short, and at times, novel activities coordinated within a simple online collaborative environment. Activities will be released each week prior to the conference and will require a commitment of 30-60 minutes each, in the individual’s own time. Depending on how the ‘discussion’ develops, the structure and focus of the workshop may be adjusted!

If you are interested in ePortfolios from an educational, technical, commercial or government background, you are welcome to participate, no matter what your experience. The workshop is free but is limited in size, so please register as soon as possible.
