The aim of this conference is to bring together representatives of education, training, industry, government and trade unions in order to identify and share innovative and productive policy and practice in the domain of development of key competencies. An aim also is to forge international links and produce action plans for ongoing collaboration and development. While recognising the realities of competition, we wish to encourage cooptition, building strong partnerships in order to raise skills levels, increase productivity and improve inclusion.
