Themes are: Integrated learning for organisational development and innovation; Integrated learning for employability, social inclusion and active citizenship; Learning innovation and futures; Architectures and infrastructures for integrated learning; Integrating learning with quality management; Exploiting the full potential of digital identity. Submissions can be made in English or French.

Track #1: Integrated learning for organisational development and innovation

 

The objective of this track is to explore how technologies can contribute to organisational learning by means of a coherent strategy embracing formal and informal learning. What skills and competencies do learners, educators, instructional designers, human resource managers need to develop to harness the real power of learning technologies?
A central issue should be the link between individual and organisational learning.

The following topics are suggested:
  • Talent management and competency development, recruitment and retention
  • Electronic performance support systems
  • Supporting and recognising informal learning
  • Knowledge management and informal learning
  • Communities of practice and professional communities
  • Competencies of learning professionals, human resource managers
  • Linking personal and organisational learning environments

Track #2: Integrated learning for employability, social inclusion and active citizenship

The objective of this track is to explore how technologies can contribute to creating a continuous learning environment for lifelong learning and employability. How can learning technologies contribute to employability, transparency of qualifications, mobility, accreditation of prior learning, validation of competencies and continuing professional development?A central issue should be the way technologies encourage individuals autonomy and responsibility.

The following topics are suggested:
  • Creating infrastructures for lifelong learning
  • Informal recognition and formal accreditation of competencies
  • Lifelong learning, continuing professional development, personal development planning
  • Developing key competencies, key skills, employability skills and skills for life

Track #3: Learning innovation and futures

The objective of this track is to explore how diverse technologies can contribute to innovation. A central issue should be the transformation of the learning process and the competencies of the actors.

  • User generated contents and the learner as knowledge producer

Track #5: Integrating learning with quality management

The objective of this track is to explore how technology can support, not only the quality assurance process, but the continuous improvement of learning. A central issue should be the role of quality as a learning process.

The following topics are suggested:

  • Implementation of platforms supporting quality management and improvement
  • New approaches to quality as learning process
  • Quality of assessment processes
  • Quality of learning resources
  • Embedding innovation in quality processes
  • Accessibility and universal design
  • Quality 2.0 as quality as learning process

Track #6: Exploiting the full potential of digital identity 

The objective of this track is to explore the consequences of the emergence of digital identities. A central issue should be the exploitation, controlled by individuals, of their personal data.

The following topics are suggested:

  • Developing a professional identity through social networks
  • Building trust and managing one's social reputation
  • Components of a digital identity: personal health records, professional records, ePortfolio, etc.
  • Authentication of statements, certificates, etc.
  • Federation of identities and services 
  • Protection of personal data
