Portfolio of documentation to support the entry to the iLearning Awards
All entries must be supported by a portfolio of evidence and should comprise:
- An Abstract
- Supporting documentation
- Additional documentation
Please read the description below for each of the items.
Abstract
An abstract between 1,500 and 2,500 words long should provide a descriptive summary of the evidence provided to support your submission.
Structure
The structure of the abstract should comprise:
- Title
- Submitting organisation/person
- Short summary (100 words)
- What is the context?
- What was the problem?
- How was it solved?
- How were the stake-holders involved?
- What was the impact?
- What lessons should be learned?
- List of evidence (incl. type/source/reference)
- Supporting documentation
The supporting documentation uploaded with the abstract should provide a description for each piece of evidence identified in the abstract
Evidence can include one or more of the following:
- learning material
- learning outcomes
- audio or video file
- reports
- documentation
- testimonials—learners, clients, third party, etc.
- others
The purpose of each piece of evidence should be clearly established and, when required, a link to external online resources should be provided along with the required identification data.
Additional documentation
When supporting documentation requires information that can’t be contained in a PDF file, e.g. video, simulation, game, tool, learning resource, etc. a web link and required identification should be provided to the judges.
NB 1: it is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the link and identification are working properly at all times.
NB 2: when the judgement requires the manipulation by a judge of a tool, a learning resource or some other non-sequential reading material, a usage scenario should be provided.
