Join us at the next iLearning Forum International Conference and Exhibition, which will take place at the Palais des Congrès, Paris on 19-20 January 2009.

1 Event, 2 Conferences! - iLearning Forum and RAC Forum

The theme of this year's iLearning Forum is Integrated learning: embedding learning technologies for individual and organisational development. Learning professional colleagues from around the world will be meeting to explore state of the art practice in the use of technology for education and the development and management of human resources. 

Principal themes are:

• Integrated learning for organisational development and innovation
• Integrated learning for employability, social inclusion and active citizenship
• Learning innovation and futures
• Architectures and infrastructures for integrated learning
• Integrating learning with quality management
• Exploiting the full potential of digital identity. 

This year's event will be enriched by a parallel event, the first francophone and international conference on the recognition and validation of achievement and competencies, in cooperation with the organisers of the major Montreal conference on the same theme (RAC 2006 and RAC 2008).

Participants are free to attend any session in the event and have a choice of French and English plenary and parallel sessions. 

Draft programme now available 

The programme for iLearning Forum and RAC Forum 2009 is now available. 

A distinguished panel of plenary speakers represent the worlds of industry, education, training, governmental and non-governmental organisations. They will explore the latest trends and future development in learning technologies, as well as the recognition and accreditation of competences.

iLearning Awards 2009

The objective of the iLearning Awards is to celebrate the achievements of organisations that have demonstrated a clear vision of learning as a process embedded in every moment and activity of an organisation’s life. The iLearning Awards recognise organisations for which learning is not a series of discrete events but a continuous process, involving individual and organisational learning, formal and informal learning. Learning is life! summarises the vision of ilearning.

Each Award celebrates a particular aspect of integrated learning. You can submit under the following categories:

 RAC 2009, Paris 19-20 January 2009

The objective of the parallel conference, RAC 2009, is to explore the state of the art in the field of recognition and accreditation of competencies to encourage policy and decision makers to design advanced policies and practitioners to take on board the most advanced practices in a field of rapid progression. 
EIfEL is delighted to announce that the RAC will be organised in partnership with the GARF, the Association for French professionals responsible for the development of competencies in organisations.

RAC Conference themes include:

• Formal vs informal recognition of learning achievements
• Recognition of learning achievements across cultures and countries
•  Recognition of competencies and innovation
• Quality control of learning achievements certification processes 

The London Learning Forum: First Call for Contributions

ePortfolio 2009, Key Competencies - Skills for Life 2009, Learning Networks and Territories 2009

The London Learning Forum will take place on 22-24 June 2009 at City University, London. 

This year's event main theme is Innovation, 'Creativity and Accountability'. It will be addressed over three days and three conferences: 

• ePortfolio 2009 (7th international conference)
• Key Competencies—Skills for Life 2009 (3rd international conference)
• Learning Networks and Communities (4th international conference—previously Learning Regions & Cities)

Each conference has its own call for contributions and the final tracks will be organised according to the nature of the contributions received.
