alt-i-lab 2004
alt-i-lab 2004 is the 2nd annual meeting of creators, vendors, users, and buyers of learning technology. The purpose of the meeting is advancing learning technology interoperability. This meeting is an informal laboratory for assessing and addressing concrete and solvable interoperability problems. The participants are informed business and technical decision makers and technology leaders from the vendor and consumer communities.

Quality in European eLearning (at ICALT 2004)
The Workshop Quality in European E-Learning: Designing Tools and Frameworks for Tomorrows Quality Development provides a cross-European look at the issue of quality e-learning. It aims at drawing a picture of the European situation in quality development and presenting conceptual frameworks and tools for describing, comparing and adapting quality approaches in order to make e-learning successful.
The European Diploma Supplement
Throughout the European Union there are public initiatives to introduce the European Diploma Supplement, Yet the full potential of the EDS will only be realised by the use of information technology to facilitate communication and exchange of data between learners and education institutions. The technologies used must be open, and interoperable. This workshop brings together colleagues on conceptual and policy development, on practical implementation and on a new approach to interoperability of information in technology enhanced learning. The aim is to learn from each other, to exchange knowledge and experience and identify ways to co-operate and accelerate the economic and social benefits of EDS through common standards.

ePortfolio Montreal will be a working forum. The goal is to bring together people who could share either experience working with ePortfolio projects or research in some aspect of the ePortfolio.
