Synergetics
Synergetics. As an innovation company, Synergetics initiated multiple larger European, as well as Dutch and Flemish research projects (Prolix, TAS³, TenCompetence, Codrive, Kennisnet ePortfolio & IBBT projects). Their results are consistently built into the Synergetics Employability Process Platform, which supports employability related business processes such as learning (LCMS/LMS), knowledge production, & competence development, certification of acquired competences, and competency, matching and HR-process integration.
OUNL

The Open Universiteit Nederland, which welcomed its first students in September 1984, is an independent government-funded institute for distance learning at university level. The Dutch government's purpose in founding Open Universiteit Nederland was to make higher education accessible to anyone with the necessary aptitudes and interests, regardless of formal qualifications.

CWI

The Centre for Work and Income (CWI) is the first stop for job-seekers and employers. Employers can contact CWI for placement services and information on the labour market. CWI can help job-seekers find work or to apply for unemployment or supplementary benefits. The centre also issues dismissal and employment permits and provides information relating to labour law.
Surf SURF is the collaborative organisation for higher education institutions and research institutes aimed at breakthrough innovations in ICT. SURF provides the foundation for the excellence of higher education and research in the Netherlands.SURF consists of three organisations that each have their own field of activity: SURFfoundation, SURFnet and SURFdiensten.SURFfoundation is the initiator for innovation in higher education and research. SURFfoundation initiates, guides and stimulates ICT innovation through sharing knowledge and partnerships.
Kennisnet Kennisnet Ict op school (or just Kennisnet) is a Dutch public Internet organization dedicated to the primary, secondary education and vocational training. Kennisnet provides educational content and information to teachers, pupils and parents. Kennisnet also stimulates the use of information technology in educational processes by providing technical and practical support for several innovative educational aids.
Kenteq Kenteq is the Dutch knowledge and consultancy centre in the field of technology. Kenteq closely monitors the labour market by carrying out market research, convening expertise meetings, holding consultations with trade organisations, government bodies and educational institutes, and by maintaining close contact with the business community.
tencompetence TENCompetence is a 4-year EU-funded Integrated IST-TEL project that will develop a technical and organisational infrastructure for lifelong competence development. The infrastructure will use open-source, standards-based, sustainable and innovative technology. With this freely available infrastructure the European Union aims to boost the European ambitions of the Knowledge Society, by providing all European citizens, SMEs and other organisations easy access to facilities that enable the lifelong development of competencies and expertise in the various occupations and fields of knowledge.

The independent, non-profit organization is dedicated to the development and promotion of data interchange standards to enable e-business and the automation of human resources-related data exchanges.

 

OnToHR'07 co-organiser:

OOA Ontology Outreach Advisory: OOA is an international not-for-profit organization bringing together industry, government, and research leaders and innovators concerned with ontology development, use, and education. The principal mission of the OOA is to develop strategies for ontology recommendation and standardization, and thereby promote the ontology technology to industry. The OOA focuses mainly on content rather than on technology.
